The small town charm is felt as you drive through the historic farm land of Schertz/ Cibolo.  A surburban hill country town filled with old roads and Texas sunsets like no other. Each year both towns welcome active military whom train at any of our local bases. Randolph Air Force Base was founded here in 1930. You will come across many retired veterans who have established restaurants, businesses, teach at the local schools and orchestrate community gatherings/ festivities throughout these two towns. Looking for a quick getaway into the city life, take a 20-minute drive down to San Antonio. Visit the river walk or purchase tickets to an NBA basketball game and watch the Spurs. Other activities nearby include hiking, kayaking, tubing or camping at Guadalupe and Comal River. Many also take to the horse races held at Retama Park hosted from summer until fall.
